We would probably have a better time doing log rollers before a wheel, especially for something so heavy. You get rollers under the tree, then roll it forward, then take the back roller out and put it in front.

But 7 people can do a lot with just a lot of pulling ...

that's a primitive wheel, thats how the wheel was invented

Holly and Squirts continue to weave away.

Walt continues his normal activities and the Wolf pup now has grown slightly affectionate for him.

Ash is figuring out how to construct a portable wall inside the Ribcage and has started the frame within the Ribcage.

Peter has taken a spare basket and pressed and woven waxy leaves into the structure of it. This will allow the basket to hold water. He strolls down to the river and fills the bucket. He then drinks heavily and replaces the water inside. He then places the Water Bucket inside the ribcage.

Dave reclines by the Fire.

It is mid afternoon

The fire has gone out.

(It occurs to me that you can probably get "Lovecraft" as the random name of your fortress. That's when you know you're screwed.)

While Peter (spear) and Davey (sling, rocks) are out looking for pretty rocks and Bill (spear, stone axe) is looking for wood,

Walt: Show the pup around to the other cavemen so it understands they're also good people. Show it how to follow. Let the fire stay very low until we need it.

Holly and Squirts keep weaving the mat.

Ash keep on truckin' man!

Third spear leaning against ribcage.

(When Davey comes back we might want to make more spears. Try making a spear with backward-facing hooks so you can spear fish)

(Also we have a ton of wolf meat, I think we should cook and eat more than usual, like a double ration twice a day for everyone, or else it will go bad. And maybe wait on hunting for a bit because we're super meaty atm)

(And maybe plant those extra berries beside the river, because they'll go bad eventually too, but not as soon as the wolf meat)

good idea, we should sculpt a harpoon tip out or a bone fragment, dave will you do that when you can? and make another axe

(Also everyone should drink, see how many people we can water with one bucket. We many need to make another bucket and do the two-buckets-on-a-horizontal-pole thing to save two river trips. That is, one person goes down to the river and drinks, brings back two buckets full, so two people don't need to go down to the river)

[GM Note: I am very glad that this has been bumped, after a short hiatus from Bay 12 I have been looking for a reason to revive this thread for a long time ^_^. What kind of updates do you have in mind Cheddarius? Im also looking for willing participants to create a map for us, just so we know where we are going and what we are doing. Right then, I've been looking forward to this for a while]

Peter and Davey continue to find pretty colored rocks in the forest. After some exploring Davey finds a hill which is reasonably steep. This hill is to the north of the camp.

Bill continues to look for wood and uses his stone axe to hack fallen branches and large limbs of trees, he has accumulated 3 big branches.

Ash is in need of more sticks to weave into a Portable wall within the ribcage. He has decided to make the wall just a bit bigger than the entrance into the Cage. 

Walt has decided to introduce the puppy to the other members of the group, he starts with the women and Ash, because they are near the fire. The puppy enjoys these new people, and especially chewing on Holly's hair.

Holly and Squirts are continuing to weave the mat and should be finished by Night time.

All of the group are reasonably thirsty and hungry.

The wolf pup is hungry. [He is old enough to eat solids, just about]

The sun is slanting at a 45 degree angle.

I mean that you would have an update on what inventory we have right now, and I would start updating it from then on.
I might also be willing to update a map, but it'd be better if you could provide a current one and I'd just update it as the game goes on.
