awesome, :) this is still going on.

I vote that Walt, as the leader, take Dog hunting to the east, eventually reaching the other camp(learning how to hunt with Dog along the way). Then showing the group's mastery over animals, entice a couple new tribe members to join us as Walt, the Beastmaster's followers.

Pencils could be made with erasers at both ends, but what would be the point?

I like this idea better than working on the fishing pole. Do it!

[Thanks for the interest guys, although it would be helpful if instead of reading, you actually contributed :P]

Walt continues making the Fishing hook, stealing the rope from the girls and threads it.

Bill and Davey wear the new clothes although Bill's set it rather tight, it being made for the girls. The dog follows them, and the dog has formed a strong relationship with Bill.

Squirts and Holly begin to weave another pair of shoes.

Ash stands at the edge of the Clearing by the river, axe in hand. The tree is as wide as half a man and taller than two men stood on top of each other. Ash swings his sturdy axe which gnaws into the side of the tree. This will take some time.

It is Late Morning

Rather than having them directly force you to mine adamantine, I would suggest that they give you strange moods that require adamantine. "Dig out the adamantine or Urist here goes insane and dies" is suitably vicious.

Walt and Peter: When the dog returns to camp, take it and a basket of ready-to-eat berries over to the eastern tribe. In the meantime, learn weaving from watching the girls, or join them if you know how to weave.

Squirts and Holly: Keep weaving those shoes.

Bill and Davey: Hunt animals, try to find one whose pelt would be about the same size or larger than the wolf pelts.

Ash: Keep chopping away at the tree.

Puppy dog: Return to camp

Someone should look for flint. Or are the axes made of flint? In any case, we should start trying to find copper and tin.

I still say that Walt and the Dog should go recruit us some new hands. More mouths to feed, but then again we will be able to gather and build more.

I second the Squirts and Holly shoe work, and Ash making the tree bridge.

I suggest Peter look for odd stones in the river, anything metalic or different than the rest.

And then Bill and Davey hunt with spears, maybe even the wooly rhino if they are feeling really brave.

Walt decides that now would be a good time to make some communication with the other Tribe. He takes a hearty swig of water, a handful of berries and sets off. The Beast has moved on to farther down the river and the Ford is easily accessible. Walt and the Dog have reached the halfway point and should be there by mid afternoon.

Squirts and Holly continue to weave shoes and have weaved one pair.

Bill and Davey have begone to hunt larger creatures in the woods. The largest animal they can find at the moment is badger, but they will not be out until later. Rabbit is the most abundant creature in the woods. The boys decide to hunt them.

Peter looks at the river, which has now shrunk down to little more than Trickle since the last rains were a few days ago. There are some rocks in the center of the river, but none are any different from each other except from one small glittery stone.

It is mid day. Holly is hungry.

Have Holly continue making shoes, while Squirts smashes some of the stale berries, and slathers it on the cleaned otter corpse before cooking the whole lot together. Once cooked, feed some to Holly. :)

I agree with Peter getting that stone, and any others that might look like it nearby.

Bill and Davey keep hunting, and bring back what they kill before evening.

Walt and Dog continue on keeping their eyes peeled for any hunting opportunites.

Holly continues to work on the Shoes. Squirts gathers some of the stale berries and crushes them on the cool fire rock. She then slathers this on the Otter corpse. She will cook it next.

Peter collects the small stone, little bigger than his fist, and brings it back to Camp.

Bill and Davey have caught a rabbit.

Walt and the Dog have discovered a large Rabbit Burrow on their way to the Other Camp. Shortly after this they arrive.

"What do you want" Shouts the tribe leader, not disgruntled but surprised.

"Would you consider joining with us?" Says walt, using his best persuasive voice.

"You are a small tribe, although we are friends it would not benefit us that much" replies the Chief. "What do you have to offer?"

It is early afternoon. Holly is getting rather hungry.

Holly: Keep working on shoes
Squirts: Cook the corpse
Bill and Davey: Keep hunting
Peter: Investigate the properties of the rock
Ash: Keep working on the bridge.
Walt: Explain to the leader that you have an obedient wolf, then show off his tricks.
If this does not impress him, explain to him the various projects that our group is working on: The bridge, clothing, language, fishing, stylish footwear.
If all else fails, tell him we have a surplus of food.
