Author Topic: More 1000H problems: updated bios, now cant lower brightness-NEVERMIND-FIXED  (Read 794 times)

So, I updated my computer's bios, because I had heard it worked more smoothly. And it does.

Only... now, using the default (and afaik only avaiable way of tweaking) fn+f5 and fn+f6 keys to lower and raise brightness respectively, I can't make it lower than one dot. I was able to lower it a bit by tweaking the keycard, but I'd really like to know a way to fix this, as by keeping the brightness relatively low, aside from reducing the screen's wear and tear, I save a lot of battery life.


NEVERMIND: rebooted, and the second time it was fixed.
