I'm not the only one getting the bug.

You shouldn't even be able to build a ship with a jump drive it can't use.  In VB6 Aurora you could cheat them in.  You could cheat in any ship that was a improper/unfinished design.  Haven't tried with C# Aurora yet.

Okay, I just did some testing and you can indeed just use a stationary commercial ship with massive jump drives as a sort of jump gate both directions. I have a military and commercial jump drive on it but only the commercial one shows up in the class summary, but the military one still works fine.

E: Either that or I got a warp point that was already stable
Oh, and of course the very first test transit brings me to one of those fancy new binary star systems. It's so nice that the system view screen opens pretty much instantly now instead of taking several minutes.

I've been combing through the C# changes list and it looks like you can ACTUALLY give colonies their independence now (as an NPR) or lose them to rebellion (in which various military assets could defect to their side).

It also appears that any moon under 4000km doesn't have mineral deposits??? (This seems strange, does anyone have an example of a small moon w/ minerals?)

It would be handy if the event log, when set to "show literally everything thats going on" bothered to show literally anything, like that my ship just exploded.

I have mine on my 2nd monitor since the button to show event logs on the system map isn't working yet. Obviously, you may not have a 2nd monitor, in which case I'm very sorry for you.

I was thinking text based with interaction if people are interested in taking on various decision making roles. Maybe some light politics.

I was thinking of the same thing lol, it would be fun! and we could all use our experimentations to guide the burgeoning apparatus of state!
I'd be happy to do some sort of collaboration if you like. For now I'll probably start messing around with the initial release and getting some thoughts together on how the LP will work. If you're interested, feel free to PM me and we can work out details. We shouldn't start until the fix comes out I'd think

@Forsaken, for sure--seems like Steve is already banging away at user reported bugs. And yea I'll PM you!

Also, I reported this, although I am not sure if it is a bug or not--maybe you guys have had different experiences: moons <<almost>> never generate minerals, volume is one thing, but the vast majority of moons, period, get nothing.

There is still no way to forward time from the events window, it seems. :(

At the top of the event window, there's a "length of log" entry that defaults to 30. Change it to 31 to keep it from purging the log every 30 days (which means that the event log will show nothing if you use a 30 day time advance).

Oh I thought I already was following this thread. Well I sure am now. I was watching the slow steady progress of C Aurora for so long it's almost unreal to see it's actually a thing now.

Well time to download...

Bah. My 1.1 game had ruins on Mars, but I was getting NPR error messages a couple times a year. Upgrade time.

I may bypass remaking all my auto-medals till we're a little more stable - it's annoying to see them all wiped away by the patch.
