minimum x*1024 resolution required to play. One of the fixes the wiki lists isn't actually a fix.

Someone on the forums over there says they use a program called ResizeEnable to resize the windows, and apparently it works for them.

Naxza, just hit "Yes" when it asks if you want to keep your version of a file.  It will do it several times, so just keep hitting it until it stops.  It should be fine after that.

Um, the creator has mention several times that he both plays and codes it on xp64.

But yeah, can't get this to work, even on xp32.

If its a missing msstdfmt.dll error check the bottom of the open post for the fix.

Did you copy the contents of the AuroraUpdate475.zip to the aurora folder?

That's not the problem, the problem is XP, instead of scrolling when the res was too high, mushes everything into a blurry mess.

Well I installed it.

Unlike you guys who (most likely) went through the trouble of clicking yes a hundred times, I extracted the Aurora .RAR from the same place as the installer instead. no installation, and so far no problems. (Apart from that .dll being missing, but I'll fix that later.)

But yeah, heugly confusing game.

If you're running 64 bit, see top of page 6 where I put a fix, don't have to register for the forums that way.

Otherwise, if you're 32 bit, put the dll in C:/windows/system folder, and run a "regsvr32 MSSTDFMT.dll" command from the command line. Should be same as what i did top of page 6 as well, but instead of syswow64 it's just system.

can someone who's having problems with screen resolution check if that ResizeEnable utility works. I put a link to it in the OP.

It works, but it doesn't really help, just mangles the windows.  That and sdesk seems to be getting there, but I still can't get it right.
