I'm in, and I'm doing it at Dwarf Heaven.  Magma, water, GCS, Flux, Bauxite...   oh the fun never ends, and then when it does, seal it all up in Obsidian for an eternal monument to Armok of FUN.  >:D

I'd love to judge. Don't have the patience to make a megaproject like this, but I do have the appreciation for those that do

I'll sign up for this. I'm already coming up with insane ideas to utterly decimate my fort.

I fully expect to just get lazy and never finish, but this should be interesting enough to watch so I will hand in my resume.

I'll try. :) Not sure about which map to use though - my first search came up with a good one, but it's pretty bloody cold. Frozen water in spring. :s

I like the seven years - it'll give us enough time to make something truly awesome.

Judge.  I just decided to make my own Red Lever fort for the giggles.

Just pulled it now (about a half hour ago) and the magma reached the final support holding up some 10 layers of fort 5 levels off the floor of the pit.

DF froze.  And my computer is not a lightweight.

Ah, it's back.  "A section of the cavern has collapsed *screen full of dust.*  Three dwarves survived, one was a baby.  They happened to be outside the collapse zone when things went down.

Because embarking with one piece of red stone is too hard.  ???

I don`t think that any such cheat tools should be allowed.

Hence why the requirement to bring along a piece of cinnabar, rhelgar , petrified wood, or other red rock  was a embark stipulation.
