{bloody bloody molten bismuth bronze}

Iapetus:
While cleaning up in the aftermath of an ogre siege, I noticed that someone (hopefully one of the ogres) fell into the magma pipe.

All that's left of them is (on a ledge several z-levels down the pipe are:

{bloody bloody molten bismuth bronze}
{bloody bloody molten bismuth bronze}
{molten bismuth bronze}
{molten bismuth bronze laced with horse blood and dwarf blood}

What would have caused the "bloody bloody" descriptor on the first two items?

The blood has blood on it.  So the blood is bloody, thus it's covered with bloody blood, thus it's a bloody bloody item.  My best guess, anyway.
