If you read the readme that has all the controls, you'd see a full embark screenshot is made with Ctrl + F5.

Well, as I recall, it takes the shot, but the map is only partially printed (probably a conflict with an optimization thing).

edit: I already posted those - I am dumb

By the way, is there any way to disable display of green grass tiles under the cave moss/cave ramps?

there is a way, yes, though, ideally, they would be the same color of the cave moss and shrooms.

are you using custom grass?

Hmm... I'll re-download stonesense again.  I made some tile modifications that might be doing something goofy (not the grass, but ground tiles).  Less silly looking screens incoming.

there's essentially two ways grass can be shown: as a ground tile, and as a grass object. if you have grass objects, it's probably a good idea to disable the ground tiles for grass.

There we are:

and here's an attempt at getting mud under grass while keeping grassy-ramps:

I seem to have done something to make saplings vanish... oh well, they weren't looking very good in the underground anyway.

I shall continue to overwhelm this thread:

A gnomish diplomat fleeing from a goblin ambush.

The military standing watch outside the main entrance.

Forgotten beast appears! (giant wasp with a clear exoskeleton - eew)

A close call for the caravan - lost a dwarf that day!

It's not so impressive as a lot of the things people have done but it's my first 3D megaproject so I'm quite proud of it. Even if he looks like a legoman in this program LOL (never used it before)

The Cloudhatchet Colossus

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Stands astride my entrance (Aboveground tundra fort), any visitors have to walk beneath him. I am using the mineral-poor settings so he is mainly made of green glass, chalk and gabbro. Although we did scrape up enough iron to make his helm and pauldrons. Noble quarters are/will be inside.

I would like to show the rest of the fort but that full screenshot option doesn't seem to work work (where is it supposed to save the image?)

LMAO, clearly not a penguin, but i still think a dwarf needs more beard and maybe a large axe or barrel of ale... badly done it'll just look like Kong though

They're nearly as bad as badgers. Build a couple of anti-buzzard SAM sites marksdwarf towers and your fortress will look like Baghdad in 2003 from all the aerial bolt spam. You waste a lot of ammo and everything is covered in unslightly exploded buzzard bits and broken bolts.

Dude that's awesome, I love how it's so stylised. It looks like something that's actualy carved from a single huge block. Very much something a dwarf would create.
