Yeah, I just found this link through an annoucement on Rock Paper Shotgun. And I have to say this seems like a totally B12 thing to play.

Basically, you get an 8 player game or so going, that lasts for basically weeks on end. Everything is in real time, you have basic ship fights and a fairly basic research/economy tree. But, its still a lot of fun. Theres a lot of strategy involved with having alliances and stuff.

Because um, i just joined the trial one. EVERYONE SIGNUP FOR THE TRIAL ONE.

10 minutes into the game and I completely screwed up. I accidentally spent all my money building economy upgrades for my capital planet instead of spreading it out to other planets. The only reason I did this because I thought clicking on another planet switched your view planet screen. Argh!
