At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.

I got a bunk bed thing for my dorm this year, so my desk and basically all my schoolwork is scattered around under the bed in my own little space. Also you can spot guitar equipment scattered around too.

AFAIK it's a kind of decorative blanket you don't actually use for sleeping.
