Alright, I just got inspired to fucking pick up my laptop, and then through great frustration try to get a half-decent mugshot with halfway decent lighting.

Do I look good? Do I look presentable? I just flatout don't know. I hate how my eyes are naturally squinty, and it looks like I always have bags under my eyes unless I'm under perfect light, and I just got out of the hot sun so I'm a little sweaty and shiny, and it doesn't help that the camera on my lappy is a little grainy and low res, I just need to know.

This is really important cause I'm going to put this as my facebook picture cause I just met a hot girl that I used to know from highschool and I said I'd friend her on FB. I'm going to ask if she's single but I'm stressing out about my picture and stuff.

Also, I just realized I can't post in this thread without feeling like a douchebag.

You do look presentable! In fact, that's quite a spiffy mustache you're sporting. One recommendation I have though, is to look more directly at the camera. Not a death glare or anything, but your eyes pointing down while your face points forward is kinda strange. (That's probably more an effect of the laptop webcam angle, I know I can never get mine to take a straight shot.)

As for the overly-shiny face and eyebags, I don't see them.

See, that happens to me unintentionally.  I think one of my eyelids is larger than the other. Then again I may be imagining things.

@Josh: Whoa, that is an awesome stache! You look fine to me. The bags under your eyes aren't noticable at all.

And to think that just about 4 short weeks ago I had shaven my stache off and now it's revived and rivaling it's former glory with the greatest of ease. (Note to self: Revivaling isn't a word)

Anyway, I actually put it up as my facebook profile photo, then immediately took it down when my Mom saw it and then immediately called me to ask why I've put up such a creepy photo of myself.

I'll but trying to take another photo of myself sometime later...

On parents & appearance: In my experience, they usually default to thinking the opposite of everything their offspring think. *Shrug*
It's kinda hard to take natural-looking photos of one's self, though. Obviously I don't know you, and so don't know what you usually look like.

Definetely. Most of the photos of me are rubbish (as I am the ugliest person ever), but occasionally there's one of me tearing up the dancefloor somewhere and it's pretty good.
