Also, as a Goddess of the Hunt, I think you might be my mortal enemy.  :D

Faden: Sounds fun!

It would be funny and a little strange for Metroids to find religion, but I have a feeling it'll get stranger before this is all over.

Well happily provide the huntress with belief, if she shows herself to us. ;D

But her avatar should totally be Samus, trying to wipe us out.

Depending on how you act she might just do that  ;)
Do you want Samus Aran, Zero Suit Samus or the Real Zero Suit Samus?

I feel like a TV troper now.

Samus Aran is fine. Unmodified basic Chozo power-suit represent! XD

A little off topic, but somebody should do a metroid based MUD. Let us be Hunters, Fed Troopers, whatever. Not sure how you'd handle powersuit upgrades (as Samus's seems to have a short-circuit that resets the damn suit all the time, which would be annoying if implemented in-game) but save-stations would make excellent log-off points.

/Off-Topic

Edit: I was really hoping Web would get this going the weekend. Since we haven't been playing, I've been planning new traits for when I get more EP.

The current count:
Tier 1: 5 new traits (though three of them are repeats because they can be applied to other areas.)
Tier 2: 8 Traits, none of these are repeats.
Tier 3: 2 Traits. I really wanted to add those two as soon as it became feasable, but I'm going to wait to think of more of these until the game has progressed a bit.

How many races do we have? Four, I think? Wonder if I could get my brother to give this a shot... He's got an log-in on here, but no computer. I could probably post for him though... Hmm...

Shouldn't you at least change the name of the islands? It might conflict with other Evolution Lite games, especially one Evolution Lite game I played where I had Rhodia as a Entity.

Just talked to my bro, he might make one. He's gonna read the thread now. No idea what he'll make though. :)

I guess I'll join.

Slimes

Slimes are less creatures and more conglomerations of cells. They are formed from cells patched together randomly, haphazardly. They can split into many smaller slimes, or combine into larger ones. Their cells are also multifunctional - a section of slime can take on other functions, like a stem cell, enabling slimes to (over several days) take certain forms, perhaps imitating other life. Surprisingly, the nature of the slimes increases their intelligence, since they can combine into one huge neural network.

In addition, though slimes cannot easily find food in their natural state (they can use their cell-changing abilities to create muscle, bone, etc. and thus be able to), they are able to easily digest much of the food they find. Slimes are also resistant to attack (but not consumption), due to being able to simply split apart.

Here's what I have so far:

Food  (Total of increases available Land in all green land squares (forest, plains, marsh) by )
Digestion (T1, 10)
Improved Foraging(T2, 10: Digestion, Hundred-Slime Scout)

Population
Action: -
Reaction: Division (T1, 5)
Power:  -
Armour: -
Perception:  -
Stealth:  -
Range: Hundred-Slime Scout (T1, 10)
Generation: Mitosial Growth (T1, 10)

Military
Action:  -
Reaction:
Power:  -
Armour:
Perception:  -
Stealth:  -
Range:  -
Generation: Slime Guard (T1 5)

Okay, that's 50.

Doesn't my Division reaction protect me from that?

I think you get half your Homogeneity if you are attacked.

Edit: Wait no, if you are attacked you get half your Division THEN if you still are hurting your Homogeneity may help.

what
Also, can I combine totally unrelated T1s into a T2? For example, could I make Food T2, 10: Hundred-Slime Scout, Mitosial Growth?

I thought that it only worked like that if it was in the Military sphere protecting against a Military action?

I think we're supposed to use ones that make sense, but be creative.

For example:

Herding (T2) (Drain (T1), Swarm Tactics (T1)) (Food)

Metroids use their swarm instincts to round up prey animals, meaning they no longer need to range so far to find food.

See? Just make sure you can justify it RP wise.
