Can we use food traits for things other than food? I am thinking next I want to start putting points into Coordinated Care Taking (T3: Nursery Digging, Coordinated Foraging)

8 Ep on Underground Irrigation
     rest ep on Egg Chambers
    3 pop from G11 on Military Action: Flood Tactics(T1)
    3 pop from G11 on Military Armor: Chitin Carapace(T1)
    2 pop from F10 are turned into Military
    3 pop from F10 settle on F12
    2 pop from H12 on Food: Solar Chambers (T2, Underground Irrigation, Fungus Farms)

2 pop from H14 go to I15
2 pop from H14 go to G13

Why do some hexes have multiple species on them?

3 EP into Improved Clouds (T2, 7: Spore Clouds, Silence)
3 EP into Military Armour: Thick Scales (T1, 3)
E11: 2 population become military. 1 population improve Thick Scales. 3 population settle SE to F12.
E13: 2 population improve Thick Scales. 3 pop settle SE to F14.
E15: 2 population become military.
E17: 3 population improve Thick Scales.
E19: 3 population settle NE (not attack, settle peacefully). 3 population improve Thick Scales.

Spend 3 EP on Mirage, a T1 Religious Stealth trait

E19 3 units work on improving Claws
I19 3 units colonize I17
4 units work on improving Curiosity
I21 5 units work on researching Tough Hide, a T1 Military Armor trait
G21 4 units work on improving Adaptable
H22 3 units work on improving Heat Manipulation

Yes. You can both inhabit the land, but your totals will be brought down to the lowest of each players' Max Pop.
