You went of to look around. You found some small creatures in the trees but you can't climb that well. you smelt something rotten in the distance. You when to look and it was the body that you killed earlier how did it get here?

You decided to leave it along. It may well be a trap. You went out to find some live food to kill. At lease you'll know it's fresh. You couldn't find anything and you had to go back.
