Okay well it seems this forum has been lacking in the classic Evolution game, that was started way back when. My proposal is this as follows.

In my EVO game, there will be three species and only three(to begin with) each species will be controlled by a coalition of two or three players. To apply is simple, find someone you feel like would be a good person to play with create a species between you that comes to a total of 50 EP and post it on this thread and where you would like to start on the map below. I will then let you know if you are playing.

Looks interesting, a few questions though.

Was the 100 at the top a typo, and each hex can in fact hold 10 population, or were the numbers below fractions, and population will speed up at 40 creatures per hex?


Also, I assume more information is coming in the second post? This doesn't seem to explain what the map numbers mean, what non-defensive evolutions cost, how exactly evolutions work, etc.

For information on how EP and evolution works. read an older existing game.

Sorry that wasn't clear enough. and that 100 was a typo sorry. Also the numbers on the hexes on the map are elevation hence the negative numbers on ocean tiles.

EDIT: for exotic just add 1 to the base cost and offensive is 2 more than base. also civic is one less than base just to make it that much clearer.

So is it 5 pts for one rank of offensive, then 7 and so on?

I sent a PM to Dragnar requesting to be teamed with him shortly after his first post in this thread, but then he logged off. Large teams would be an interesting experiment, but I'd rather not be on one. Want to team with me, Armok?

Hey Armok, we have 3 players already, I think 4-5 would be too much.

Organise with Nirur and RNG, they are awesome guys. And I am already terrified to see RNG here, he made an awesome trait tree for me in a few minutes, he must be a pro powergamer ;D.
