But LCS intelligence is not the same as IQ... I think that in LCS, it's a flat distribution instead of the bell shaped curve?
Regardless, my own intelligence stat, I'm unsure whether to put it as 10 or 20... I have no juice, on one hand. OTOH, my IQ is in the top 2% (mensa member)...

Regardless, take note that based on the population of the LCS, you put yourself down as a LOT  smarter than an Eminent Scientist and substantially more charismatic than a Cable News Anchor.

and if you're clumsy, your agility is probably 2 or 3.

The way I see it, you'll figure out what your stats are when you find yourself hitting a stat cap much later or much sooner than you thought you would. Consequently, the list of Kay12's stats isn't as big of a deal to me (except for Wisdom!) as the fact that I can't offer advice based on the matter. My guess, though, is that real-life Conservative forces aren't as easily fooled; they'll actually remember what you look like so you can't just casually stroll through each site until a separate alarm is raised.

Well, perhaps I should say that I'm packing about 200 juice too for political activism a few years back... also, I found some old notebooks of mine, containing a few notes for the "future me" to vote for one of the several left-wingers we have in Finland once I have the right to... I had the heart even back then!

As for the intelligence, I think LCS's intelligence is a mixture of IQ and other thinking capabilities, but knowledge is in my opinion connected to skills, not stats. Intelligence influences how capable one is to learn them.

Also, for the computers skill, I am a somewhat able programmer but a LCS member with my skill would be comfortable hacking files off CIA... I'd go for social engineering myself, since I haven't got a clue on how to breach ultrasecure systems.

Good luck social engineering the CIA, I'm pretty sure everyone goes through a workshop to teach them to not give out passwords ;)

Heck, I work for an insurance company and we had a whole online course to teach people to defend against social engineering.

It's all no brainers like "never give out your password, a real tech support group would not need any personal information from you etc. etc."

Then again I'm a big fan of Mitnick, and that man was a supreme master at cracking wetware.

The more you tell them to avoid simple mistakes, the more overconfident they get.

Don't forget that 10 is the maximum for starting recruits, except mutants.

So 5 is average, and anything below average would be less than 5.

So if you're really, really, really smart, you start with 10 intelligence.  This of course means we can not use IQ/10 for the intelligent stat, as otherwise most people in LCS would have below-average intelligence.  While this may be true, it is not accurate for the real world.

Well, maybe i'ts better if I don't overestimate myself. Overconfidence is our worst enemy.

By the way, congrats on your American Liberal Health Care Laws!

Uwagh. I just tried to perform a Classic, Nightmare, run. Conditions: No killing anyone, and I'm only allowed to influence the issues through sleepers. So, I put 1 sleeper in each location, the strongest type of each sleeper I could find. Except the courthouse, which got 1 hanghing judge and 1 lawyer.
So, disband once they're all 100% effectiveness, with everyone promoting liberalism, and off we go!
... yes, yes, 2020 and we're almost there!
...
Oops. Someone died of old age. Nevermind.
Er... someone else died too.
Er...
Uh oh... so many sleepers died that the slider is moving away from elite liberalism. A little.
Am I going to make it?
...
My founder just died of old age. Game OVER!!!
Curses. Morale of the story: More sleepers.

Actually, the moral of the story is that your founder needs a Child Prodegy (or even a Child Moron would do) that can take over upon founder death.

I've decided to impose the Ninja challenge on this game of LCS. So, my main man is only hand to hand. He's become a kungfu ninja.

Literally, he hit this guy in the face five times.

Wouldn't really have helped. Most of my sleepers were dead of old age long before my founder. (judges and scientists and stuff are usually much older than your 24 year old founder)

Martial Arts is cool, but the only problem is that each hit is low damage, so it doesn't do very much against the stronger armors.
Actually, i tried using nothing but martial arts for the whole LCS. Finishing the game was not a problem. It's even easier with all swords. And Ninjas DO like katanas...

What? How did your founder die of old age at about 2020? Or did you just hold the key down and see what would happen?
