Yeah its my mod, Spellcrafts. Ive been testing out a lot of things related to it on the side like how balanced the wizard creature is. The answer is theyre a pretty OP race to start as turns out. Immediate access to the basic magic schools and then some, can wear dwarven and human sized gear, and ignored by normal wildlife. Still cant deal with a zombie dragon quickly.

Can I not eat prepared meals in adventure mode? I keep licking the spinach and yak cheese biscuits...

Generally, animal people eat the same stuff that their base animals eat. That being said, cheese is made out of milk and polar bears are mammals, so they should be able to eat those yak cheese biscuits.

Went back to the dragons lair and after a protracted battle finally killed it by stabbing it in the head with my halberd. Strangely there was a gremlin in the same room, just chilling. So i recruited him and we all left. We then encountered a great ice imp, and it blasted me with its freezing breath. I melted and died. Which was pretty fucking anticlimactic, really.

I am building a camp right next to a dark fortress. The goblins are quite annoying, when they interrupt my treecutting.

Also, how did you melt from a freezing breath? I would expect freezing to death instead.

"The peaceful town of Lidubbul is threatened! The forces of the dwarf necromancer Fath Boltspoints are on the march. Commanded by the elf Arile Squeezesorrow, they will have no mercy. There is little time -- you must flee. Perhaps your family and friends can be convinced to leave".

Nice to see necromancers attacking a site other than a player fortress. Legends Viewer says Arile lives in the local tower with 258 animated dwarves. Flee, or make a stand? Where's my axe?

That happened a couple of times in the previous version too. I'd get sieges in fortress mode from the tower lead by non-zombies. It seems to confuse their pathing for some reason, so probably not supposed to happen.

Visiting the tower usually results in the zombies turning on their fleshy commanders. Ha ha ha.

I've seen that happen as well - and yeah, their living commanders often get chased away/outright killed from towers by the zombies.

I've occasionally seen zombie harassers like that in adv mode being lead by...another zombie, according to the intro text when spawning.
