Ha, they think your a cultist! Well, it's probably a good idea to act the part then. You muster your strength and strike an evil darth-vader pose. This wierd act earns you a few strange looks from your fellow cultists. The fires have started to die, and your nether regions are cold.

You scout around for some new breeches, but cant find any. You spot a cultist robe instead - you put it on. The crimson cloth is surprisingly comfy. I guess eating people does have it's perks.

We are now OSKUR WIYOLDE, author and cultist.

And we need to pick that corpse's arms and armor.

Hmm... The cultists thing you are 'Oskur', so I guess that means if you don't want to end up like the red armored man... You gotta go by the name of Oskur. If it is a name. You decide that it would be wise to take the armored man's gear... You look at the fire that the bald man kicked it into, but for some reason, you can't find anything. It almost seems to be that the man... dissapeared. Strange. Maybe it was a really hot fire?

Collect all the best cultist bits and sew them together to create a super-cultist!

Then try to find some way to make it less dead...

You pile a bunch of cultist corpses together. Nothing you could really do here - you don't have a cutting instrument or a sewing machine. The bald man has walked back into the square, carrying a couple of dead babies in his arms.

"Good, you've piled the corpses together. Easier to light a pyre."

He fixes you with his steely gaze. For a second, you think you've been ratted out... Then his glare softens every so slightly.

"Well done for showing initiative. You may not be an Oskur much longer... No, you might be heading somewhere."

He claps you on the shoulder and walks off.

You decide that Wiyolde seems a nice name. Maybe you'll settle down and start writing some plays and books after. For now though, there is this mess of canabalistic cultists. You are holding nothing. You are naked, except for Censor-O-Matic™ boxers beneath your robes. The robes are crimson and black. On the hem is the word, OSKUR sown into the fabric.

You aren't sure what to do now, but you don't even know where you are. You could try to escape from the cultists, but you might run into some nastier horrors - it is the thickest, blackest night you've ever seen. Who knows what lurks in these wilds.

On the other hand, the cultists would provide food, shelter and hospitality (hopefully) if they believe you are a cult member. You might get a chance to find something great if you head into their headquarters... Where ever that is. However... You might have to participate in some ungodly rituals. Or... If they find out you aren't an actual cultist... Then who knows what happens.

What do you do now?

You scout around for your pipe and tunic. You grimace at the memory of the damn hot embers. Ouch. After glancing around the square, you find both of them in the possession of another cultist. This is has a scarred face and is missing three fingers. He is bald too. He has tucked the metal pipe and tunic under his arm is gathering things to burn. He looks quite intimidating, yet he has a vacant eyed expression on his face. However, you can't see if he's carrying any weapons.

What do you do?

You walk towards the man, taking care to keep out of sight but to not look suspicious. Eventually, you meander your way to him. You are about to 'stumble' when the man turns around. He faces you and says,

"That is not wise. If you wish your possessions back, I suggest you ask politely."

You apologise and ask for the pipe and tunic. He hands them to you without a word. Slowly, you turn around and walk away. One thing about the man bugged you, though. His eyes were gouged out from his skull. They were hanging from a chain around his neck.

You walk over to a stack of books and pick up one of them. The title is illegible, but just looking at one of the diagrams has made your head swim. It is beyond comprehension. You sit down on a conveniently unbroken crate and start to look through the books. You got about halfway through the stack - all of them foreign to you - when a hand is laid on your shoulder. You look up and see the bald cultist.

"Time to go. Assemble in the town square - First Dawn is rising and we must leave quickly." The massive man turns around and starts walking towards the square.

"First Dawn is rising"? It's as dark as ever, and it doesn't seem like the sun will rise for hours to come.
You notice a stream of cultists head towards the square. After a few seconds, only stragglers are left.

The cultists are a source of food and shelter. Plus, you seem to have a fascination with their tomes and books. You start walking to wards the square, moving fast to catch up. As you near the village square, you begin to feel as though someone is punching you in the face. You drop to your knees, winded. Your vision clouds for a second. Wobbling a bit, you stand up and look around.

You are on a mountain plateau. The wind howls and shrieks at you. Surprisingly, the robe is warm. Looking around, you see a trail of cultists holding torches headed for a cave entrance. You start to move in that direction as the mountain looks inhospitable. You walk into the cavern, trailing behind the cultists. The sound of your footsteps echoes, along with the footfalls of the other men. The flickering illumination of the light seems to be harrying you to move faster.

Dimly, you register somewhere in your mind that you lost the tunic and the metal pipe - it didnt seem to follow you anywhere.

Many winding turns and twists everywhere, but by following the cultists infront of you, you don't get lost. After what felt like an hour, you reach the end of the cavern. It widens into a paved hallway. The cultists all walk of in different directions, leaving you standing there... Clueless.

A small piece of paper wafts by. You pick it up. And whats the chances! It's a god-damned map!

What do you do now?
