Yet you never see the spiked bodies...

Wait, do you mean when the chasm creatures kill you you cant go find your corpse, or in general? Because usually, they stick your body on top of one of the towers, and not only can you see it, you can get it down and bring it with you should you feel like it, heh.

I like how the Goblins impaled your head on a pike as an honor.  ;D

They did the same with all my companions too... :-)

As for bodies I was seeing them scattered aroung the towers, without any special signs of being impaled on spikes.

Yeah me too. It is not really that hard, at least when you don't charge to the middle of enemy swarms like I did the first time.
