A young party of adventurers rose up from the shattered ruins of the town ready to seek vengeance on those who so mercilessly killed dozens of innocents.
It began with the Demon.......It had commanded the Goblin hordes to attack and raid our village.
The young adventurers; A swordsman, hammerman and maceman, had by no means any real experience under their belts but the determination for revenge was too strong.
They scouted all through the fortresses of this Demon until they found sitting innocently in the middle of some trees. Enraged at the demon the Maceman hurled himself forward swinging his flail at the Demon. Thge sound of ribs cracking was satisfying but the demonic flames that came next wasnt.With his flesh charred to the muscle the adventurer swung the flail again, dodging savage claws at the same time. The bronze flail again made contact with the Demon but this time it found its mark and it pounded the skull deep into the brain of the Demon, killing it instantly.
The party was now surrounded and the swordsman was trying his best to stem the tide of goblins alongside with the hammerman, but the sudden death of the Demon had shocked the goblins and they soon retreated to the safety of their fortress. On the way to their next destination the group rescued 2 children captured by the Goblin scum.
How many of them would make it back to the village they didn't know......but what they did know was that the brozne collossus that crushed their village was going to be tough....
The hammerman went down almost instantly as the bronze fist crushed the life out of him.
The 2 children tried to help but were swatted away like flies.
And the swordsman was soon unconscious being beaten....only his armour keeping him alive.
The maceman was the only one capable of fighting it and his flail swung fiercly, only to be deflected by the bronze plating.
With neither managing to be able to inflict any harm it became a battle of endurance, till the swordsman staggers to his feet; his sword lost in the frenzy though. Quickly the swordsman was crushed as quickly as the hammerman and the fight continued all night.
The maceman grabbed the living dwarf child and sprinted away from the beast.
They rested for days and the swordsman found them too, he had lived but only just and the collossus still lived.
They needed better equipment.
