No more drinking ocean water in 2010.

Just tried.  It's too salty to drink.  Which also prevents it from freezing.

Standing under waterfalls cleans the blood and vomit off of you. Dunno if it did this in other versions but i thought it was awesome (I have never found a waterfall in adventure mode before)

Just one problem: You can drink the water coatings caused by salt water without ill effect. So, either skin has a salt removal effect or salt water produces fresh water coatings. Given how this game is, I could believe either.

I've drank... I think it was troglodyte blood laced with troll blood and mud, possibly with giant bat blood thrown in, with no I'll effect.
Blood is superior to water as a hydration source as you can spawn more anywhere. I collected blood from all my kills.
