Trying to create a Mantis account to report a bug, but it looks like the captcha is broken at present. (Firefox and Chrome show a broken image where make_captcha.php should probably be returning something.)

Yeah, I get that too. Assumed it was 'cos I was on a phone.
Are PC registrations not working either?

Okay, good. It's not just me. I've been testing 42.04 quite a bit and it'd be nice to contribute bug reports.

Hello.
I encountered a bug which is reported here: http://www.bay12games.com/dwarves/mantisbt/view.php?id=5021#c19372, but the report is closed. In the notes it says:
"If anyone has a save that reproduces this problem in the latest version, please upload it to http://dffd.wimbli.com/ [^] and PM a manager on the forums (or reopen the report)."
I posted my save here: http://dffd.bay12games.com/file.php?id=11859, but I can't find how to reopen the report at Mantis (even though I'm logged in), nor can I figure out who the 'managers' are, so I'll just leave this here.

I reopened it. For future reference, you can find a list of managers in the "Notes on Bug Reporting" post stickied in this subforum.

Oh. I could've sworn I Ctrl-F'd 'reopen' there. Thanks.
Edit: no, I meant that I thought that I Ctrl-F'd that thread you linked for 'reopen'. I guess I mistyped or something because if I hadn't,
I would have seen the list of managers.

It's just an option for managers or the person who originally opened the report.

Hmm. I do sometimes wish we had a proper section for discussion of the bug tracker in general. I'm wishing there was a way to find a tag's page without knowing its numeric ID. Because looking through the list of existing tags inevitably leads to me finding amusing ones, that leave me wondering what drunken shenanigans were responsible.

Is there any way to change the title or description of a bug I've reported? I misjudged the nature and scope of the bug after doing a few tests in DF, and now the current description is a little inaccurate. I know I could always post a new report, but I'd rather avoid that, if possible.

Please don't post a new report (that just clutters things up). Let me or another manager know what you want to change and we can change it for you.
