I keep thinking glacier fortress would be fun, but it always ends up as cave layer fortress.

It is also possible to milk donkeys and horses. It also follows that you can now have donkey cheese and horse cheese.

I wonder what else we can now milk.

Now comes the challenging task of getting dwarf milk. ;)

Female dwarves that go berserk and are captured with a cage trap should be milkable.  It's only realistic.

Some people really have made castes of milkable dwarves, which is both disturbing and amusing.

Uh oh, is this going to be another case of vomitous blood and bloody vomit?

Bloody milk and milky blood?

Somewhat related, can you actually USE creature blood? I noticed that the traders bring barrels of the stuff every year.

In adventure mode, you can pick up blood and vomit and pummel monsters like it were any other item. The game even records your kills with it; the only thing better than suffocating an ettin with its own vomitous blood is having the deed enshrined in history.

(Sadly, I later discovered that even historically relevant bloody vomit gets washed away forever if you go swimming; dropping it on the ground similarly destroys the item history. As such, my adventures from now on when my adventurers come across a glob of particularly noteworthy vomitous bloody dwarven ale laced with ichor, they will never wash their hands again.)

Can't you stuff the blood in a backpack?

But really I meant can you use creature blood-filled barrels in fortress mode.

Try putting blood and milk in the same barrel and making cheese from it, there might be some fun there.

All cows are female. Males are called Bulls.
