My metalsmith is crunk
« on: September 04, 2006, 11:03:00 pm »

After a fey mood, my metalsmith created...

Mafolnilum Zustashnokorfathshoveth, "Chamberwears the Ancient Dead Sacks-M..."  (it runs off the page, I can't see the whole thing...)

which is...

A platinum goblet, encrusted with rock crystal, with studs of platinum and bands of platinum, images of large roaches in platinum, and images of antmen in groundhog leather.

And of course he carries it with him wherever he goes.

In other words...

... my metalsmith made a pimp cup.

I guess I should make him a massive custom engraved room with masterpiece furnishings.  After all, pimpin' ain't easy...

Noice, like always I gotta share in this.

My Metalsmith tried to come up with a lil something somethin for himself too:

Gesisvetek Nobangekirudar, "Sinewtarget the Dismal Lucid Rain", a platinum chain.

Encircled with bands of platinum. This object menaces with spikes of platinum.

Doesn't quite cut it like yours though..
Cause I think he's weird for carrying it around since it's a restraining chain...

I still think my tin goblet, studded with tin and menaces with spikes of tin is wierder.
I mean, isn't it a bit difficult to drink from a goblet with spikes on it?

But what do I know?
Everything I say should be taken with atleast 1 tsp. of salt, and another liter of Dwarven Wine is recommended.

"I thought it was the size of the others!" said Vanon. "I guess it was just standing further away!"

*lookup, lookup, search...*

Zustashnokorfathshoveth means "Ancient Dead Sacks-Mystery".
(In case anyone was curious.)

One of my legendary miners once made a moonstone coffin which menaces with moonstone spikes with engraved moonstone images of dwarves (or some such). The whole thing weighed more than the dwarven caravan could carry at once, and needless to say, carrying it around in his left hand he quickly progressed to Mighty status.

At least you won't have to worry about dragging his corpse very far for burial.

My fortress has *two* artifact floodgates. As if one isn't bad enough!

Oddly enough, I also have an artifact blowgun

my newbie craftsdwarf (well.. i set him to weave) decided to make a leather armor..

now all i need to know is whether he'll be carrying the stupid thing in his hand until the end of time.. or whether he'll be wearing/storing it somewhere..

should i slap an armor stand in his room for him to stash it?
