Thanks, Putnam.  Long shots don't usually pay off, but sometimes they do.

The luggage isn't really a container so much as a creature that is very good at killing people. It'd have to be made out of something stronger than Slade, though.

The Luggage is good at getting things out of its way that it perceives as being in its way. It's quite single-minded. Killing people? It wouldn't think like that.

Killing them? No. On the other hand eating them...

It eats lots of things. The Luggage doesn't care about the after.

Oh yes please :)
I'm just reading Wintersmith and am about to finish the series soon, I hope the next books come out before Alzheimer hit's TP too hard and he commits euthanasia.

Also: The Luggage, the original QS. :D

While I've yet to figure out a way to make a creature that also functions as a container, I suppose making a creature that lays "eggs" made out of various items like gold coins or XXSocksXX, has the [PET] tag, the description for "The Luggage" and is built to be equal parts mouth "lid", body "trunk" and legs "legs", might do instead.

I'm not sure if this would work: Whomever has The Luggage as a pet could carry around a nest box and use small fort embarks to remove anything from their pet.

OK, then - how about this instead:

Using the "x" menu, and a "the luggage" creature as an unconsumed reagent, various items of clothing or a gold coin are produced?

Tribute time!

Is there a way to mod legends according to the least proactive history of the disc? And can it cope with the occasional change by time monks?
