That is epic. When are we starting the next one?

No I'm not psychic. I just know that this is dwarf fortress. and the most stupidly awesome and inexplicable thing is probably going to be the first thing to happen.

Either when someone else starts one, or when discussions have reached a point where I feel like starting another myself.

qwerty, start another one. You know you want it. You want to start another one. Deep inside, your heart tells you. Boom you want it Boom you want it Boom

And in all seriousness, if you don't want to start it yourself, I will.

What I am waiting for is a decision to either allow animations, keeping in mind the slight quality loss it will bring, or disallow them, enabling the use of full-colou PNG composites.

People will vote what they want, not give you a specific decision, since this is more of a personal preference than something that can be logically chosen. So, open up a poll for it. Perhaps even alert people of its existence.

Imagine a cool peice of sky-blue and milk-white marble about 3cm by 2cm and by 0.5cm, containing a tiny 2mm malacolite crystal. Now imagine the miles of metamorphic rock it's embedded in that no pick or chisel will ever touch. Then, imagine that those miles will melt back into their mantle long before any telescope even refracts an image of their planet. The watchers will be so excited to have that image too.

Why doesn't somebody just throw out another 8x8 grid of the question mark squares and we can get started?

Though I'm against animations because they are a bitch to sync, plus we don't really have any need for them.

I want another one too.

Also, I won't be doing any animations, if that helps.

I take it that you found it, then? :P

For anyone else who stumbles here, the new collaborative pixel art project can be found from here.
