Spheres are also hardcoded, which is what made the claim really implausible.

Sadface.

But yeah, I do really hate it when people see this game, and make up stuff which, though may make sense in the context of the game, arn't actually really possible without extensive modding. I once saw a guy on another forum say "yeah, I played this game. It's really hard, I once got both my legs ripped off by a tiny beatle". *facepalm*

I had a priest say "life in a word is deformity"
Then I asked him for a quest and he said "experience Disease"

My memory is a lil hazy but I think I ran into some incest worshiping gobs in the last version. I promptly punted their priests into a wall with my warhammer afterwards, though thats pretty much my standard action for most things.

I remember the first time I played adventure mode I talked to someone who worshiped suicide and was confused about what I did to upset them lol.

Could it have happened in an older version? Never seen it myself but it seems fitting to the world.

It's used in the symbols raw under violent though, so any civ capable of using the sphere for violence will be able to call up rape in it's religions and names.

Here's the raw definition for that line of dialogue, from /data/speech/greet_worship.txt:

Code: [Select]
Life is, in a word, [SPEAKER:HF_LINK:DEITY:RANDOM_DEF_SPHERE].
As you can see, all that can be used there is spheres, not words associated with spheres.  The claim is bogus.

I am currently in the town from the Holy Grail.

Everybody I talk to, on parting, tells me, in some form, to "experience muck."

And all I can think is "There's some lovely filth over 'ere!"
