Dwarven Baby cancels Clean Self: Too Insane

A two-month old baby in my fort was attacked by a Spoiler (click to show/hide)Draltha ripping open it's throat and upper left leg. While horribly maimed, the parents don't seem to mind the fact that the baby is covered in it's own blood.
The baby won't clean himself either. PTSD maybe?

That's traditional dwarven parenting.
"It'll make the kid stronger. Don't clean him."
Hehe, I had the same problem with a dwarf who had went mad with melancholy after being unable to complete his strange mood (I never did figure out what the hell he wanted, said shell but I had turtle shells everywhere). He spammed that message every couple seconds until he starved to death.

Dwarven babies clean themselves? Can they do simple sums, too?

If you really wanted, I suppose you could engineer the classic dwarven shower.
