With a glass furnace, sand, and fuel (or magma) for a green glass statue. A clear glass statue would require pearlash as well. Crystal glass, if it were working, would above that also require rock crystal.

ok I tried reinstalling direforged since halls of light wasn't in the build menu anywhere and this comes up can you give me a hand?

Huh. I'm pretty sure I know what the problem is, but I am kind of surprised that it causes a fatal error. For the time being, you should use the graphical version found here.

I thought I had updated with that version already, but apparently not.

for saves just copy over raws correct? or do I have to do something special?

I'd normally caution against copying new raws over the save raws, but if it's the save that throws the error, that may have to do.

Update - v1.00 - The Chaos Age has passed.

The Chaos Age has passed. Whether it has lasted millennia or centuries, few can say, as historical records are few and incomplete, and civilization as it once was has crumbled during the Chaos Age. Only now, at the dawn of a new age, do the people of the world set out again to colonize the savage wilds, to reclaim what was lost to time and tide. Hamlets once again grow into cities, and towers of the dark forces rise high again as well. Mystic chants and fey trickery fill the woods, and picks and shovels once more strike the earth in search of ore.

A world has been forged through a dire age. An age that led to elves devouring their foes and goblins worshiping demons. An age that saw the emergence of the undead itarin and the rise of the Carmine Court from a minor fey court to a great force. An age that people like the humans, aurides, and encars barely survived. Now, the world passes into a new age. In which way will this new age reforge the world?

Much of new stuff in this version. New antagonistic civs are the hobgoblins, led by an imperant, and the diverse evil fey of the carmine court.
Great sphinxes, anurisphinxes (frog sphinxes), and bhotisphinxes (scorpion sphinxes) are new (semi)megabeasts.
Several new crops. The underground crops are all food crops - deep morels are just food crops, crested helmets can be brewed as well, and cavern gourd seeds can be pressed like rock nuts.
Several new armor items for the existing civilizations.
Boiled leather - uses wax and is performed at the tannery.
Crysants are hiveable insects found in evil regions - they can provide iron bars among other things.
Adventure mode spellcasting. See the first post for details. This is bound to change once the interaction framework comes in.

There are a number of things I planned that I can work on without the next version, so I might do that for a bit. That version should also be when I switch over to the new manual, replacing the current readme file, regardless of whether it is fully finished at the time.

Heh. I'll look into the Phoebus versions (they're not updated yet) in the next few days, officially linking them in the first post as well, then I can go and ask. There's some other projects for me as well, of course.

I have a silver bar but the "Extract star silver" reaction isn't working.

EDIT: Also, "dangerous flarestone" is on the embark trade screen.

Extracting star silver actually requires several silver bars - the reaction input/output screen doesn't show the input numbers needed for some reason (and it seems not to have been reported on the tracker, I see now).

Yeah, I actually wanted to test whether I can get the dangerous flarestone out of those screens, but didn't get around to it yet. For the time being, the name is the only warning.

Assuming I can resist tinkering with the Horses of Myth script, I should be able to start working on the shyhak'ur I've mentioned before, and maybe some other plans.

Something kind of weird's going on with the raws. If I open them in Notepad, there are no line breaks: it's one big wall 'o text paragraph. But if I paste them into another program, they show up normally.

Yeah, I'm on a Linux system, and that uses different line breaks than Windows, and Notepad doesn't recognize them. I guess I forgot to todos the raws (the diff utility I'm using also really wants the Linux line breaks). There should be Windows utilities out there to convert the line breaks as well.
