if i follow the instructions to creating a new Mayday build on his site, using the .02 release, will that break .03? it looks like the only raw changes were typos.

He'll probably have an update up tomorrow if not tonight, he's really quick with the version updates.

Edit: Maybe not tonight as I just checked his profile and its almost 5 AM where he is (Australia I think), so I might not expect one tonight.

I was watching the bug tracker closely watching as the number of fixed issues increased.  Watching in glee as a number of things I had the main issues with were fixed.  Coming back to the page every so often to see a new issue solved...

It was very exciting, but without the hurting feeling waiting for the first new release brought on by the long drought.  I think I am currently in DF player heaven...I think I see Bellsmaw sailing in the distance...  I'm just so *sniffle* happy!

Awesome! Now that the majority of crashes are out of the way, gamebreaking bugs can start to be worked on. (like the surgery thing and noble screen mess ups)

Fantastic! Loving the quick updates. You, sirrah, are magnificent.

And, until the farming situation stops making me want to embark only on rivers for irrigation, I'll try a beef and cheese diet for my dwarves. Certainly seems more dwarfy than shrooms and random berries.

Wow.

I don't know what you did but it's working.

Consistently higher FPS on .03 as compared to .02 - sometimes only about 4 FPS, but sometimes 15+ - particularly just following mass designations.

Now if I could just make a proper military and stop getting slaughtered by everything that moves.

Does Mayday's build even touch the raws? Last I knew it was just a tileset and then a bunch of graphical designations. It shouldn't be too hard to copy init config, the tileset, and graphical files to their proper locations.
