any idea what that phrase means in a shop?

especially the symbols right next to it..

does it refer to the item being made as being that quality?

That's not true, the shop still works, just slower because it's cluttered (CLT).  You can press T to see what's lying around in the shop, which is likely just the stuff they were making in it.  You just need people with furniture or item hauling turned on to stop by and clean the place up.  However if you do not have a pile set for that type of item (bars/blocks for a smelter, etc.) then there's no place to put it, hence it just sits there, cluttering up workspace.

CLT stand for clutter. It slows down the production in the building. You can find out how much somewhere in the help section.

heh.. right..

i had the "masterpiece" symbol right next to cluttered... guess i really should have a few more furniture movers around..

i've banned my masons/etc from moving anything you see.. as they tend to end up "building" things instead of working in their shop.
