Hi, I've searched for this DMFA but cant find anything on it. What is it, where do I get it? I've been trying to find out about this side view for a while now.

DFMA is an online map viewing archive for Dwarf Fortress maps, it's not a separate application. You can find the website here: http://mkv25.net/dfma

One of the viewing modes is side on. See atomfullerene's map link in the first entry, and then click on 'side view' button.

Edit: It probably doesn't help that someone typoed the name. ;)

Thanks for that, while searching I actually found this map archive, but had no idea it had anything to do with the side-views. :)

Buttons upper right.  You can click Side and Front and it'll display cross sections.
