that guitar wasn't very good at holding tune, the frets were glued on weird and it actually made my fingers numb to play it. I wanted to use it before I got rid of it, I had found it on the side of the street about to be collected with the neighbors garbage and thought I could mess around with it. ye I didn't play it right cause I don't really have a concept of time and chords are hard.

Very cool! I like seeing how it looks to play this song. I've tried playing it, but I haven't the fingerstyle.

I didn't realise anybody actually seriously listened to that.

all I did was import the midi file into an NES tracker.

Updates, unrelated to the tabs themselves:
Switched to a (much) more user friendly file host, Dropbox. That should make it extremely easy for me to maintain files as well. The Mediafire links will remain active, as have the links for all previous versions.
Fixed an error in the naming of the song_game Text file. It was named "song_game.gp5" when it should have been "song_game.txt". This error went long unnoticed. Many downloads and not one person notified me? Oh well.

I made a condensed version of the plain text song_game tab. After having played the tab a couple times, I mostly just need to recall the chords that go in each bar, since the fingering flows naturally. Maybe this will be useful to somebody else.

Note that I also moved the intro towards the end. In the game, the song is looped, and I feel it sounds better to start and end the song the way my version does. If ya don't like it, you can just move the last 5 lines of chords to the beginning.

I am sorry for necro-ing this thread, but I would really like to know if there is anywhere where I can see what chords I need to hold to do this properly. I never really learned playing the guitar properly and I would be very much helped if someone could post what chords are used when and where.

Sadly the last post has a link which no longer works, as you said. So hoped someone had the chords. Might you know where to get them?
