At first, the rap seemed awesome, but then I noticed:

Ridin' high on admantite
Goblin suckas die

Elk birds are docile,
Rampaging through my fortress
Passively maiming.

Fuck I hate elk birds.

The Forgotten Beast
Kun Asmolsarek has come!
A great butterfly.

It has a spiral
shell, and it is ravening.
Beware its vile dust!

At least it isn't a giant elk-bird. I think I'm developing a phobia...

Tonight I will dream of nightmarish caverns filled with the haunting cries of strangely malproportioned birds with antlers.

Dream, and tremble.

Urist is an axedwarf
He thinks he should kill kobolds
Magma is his doom.

Winter has arrived
Now it is time for Dwarfmas
Granite toys for kids

Spring is finally here
Time to plant the strawberries
Rain will melt us all

Summer brings goblins
Ambushes and sieges too
Lots of iron ore

Autumn for harvest
Of bones and field-crops alike
Biscuits and totems.

People are dying.
Brewer interrupts his task:
Skeletal goats come!

How about:

Magma magma kill!
The answer to all problems:
dump magma on it.

Toady typically doesn't do things by half measures.  As evidenced by turning "make hauling work better" into "implement mine carts with physics".
There are many issues with this statement.

Shining steel weapons are born
Sorrow they shall sow

Quickly starting work
Spring flies by too fast for me
No migrants in sight

Farming, brewing, yes
These things are all in order
It's all still a mess

Trading with the elves?
This season brought things much worse:
A tantrum spiral

Six stupid kobolds
How can six beat my seven?
That was a fast spring

Traps and weapons fail
So does the "attend meeting"
Now they're all insane

Something drastic done
A maneuver new to me
"Abandon Fortress"

(The tale of my last fortress, built and lost within a day, one year of game-time.)

Picks clang, echoing above.
Quiet stone sleeps; empty cistern.
Sodden thumps, blood seeps.

.........................................

Consider kittens.
Playful, joyous, and needy.
Yum! Meat and leather.

Screaming in the kitchen
Brewer sobbing on the ground
No plump helmets left
