Caverns of wonders,
Lot's of beautiful magma,
Oops we dug too deep.

Eyeless elf retreat;
Their everything pinched off,
Dentist idle no longer.

Legendary dwarf;
Your hammer obliterates!
Beware the cut toe.

Well-managed fortress
Not a single mistake here.
I have a back entrance?  :o

Awesome thread.  ;D

Oh mighty fortress!
Support pillars all set up,
Gremlins are your doom.

As summer plays out
Urist rots in the prison
The five mayors dance

Deep in the caverns
I bestow my spear a name
Again and again

The squad of seven
Wait until their bones are bleached
To train with ten men

(Yes, I'm writing haikus about specific bugs)

Ah, glorious roads.
Wait, why is no one working?
Is that a marmot?

Sublime engraving.
The goblin is pleading.
The dwarf is laughing.

The Duke commands us.
Metals the fort does not have.
Ok, pull the lever.

Urist swears his dig
was well-intentioned. Alas...

New fortress, new goals
Dig and build a shaft through caves
GOD DAMN IT, CRUNDLES

Green pools outside now
The light has enveloped (me)
My stomach growls loud

Once I spied a dwarven wench
And gave her rump a passing pinch
Her hips did swerve,
Delightful curve!
Beyond my reach a teasing inch!

She served me mead, she served me ale
She served me flesh till moon grew pale
But at first light,
I quaked at sight!
She'd grown more stubble than a male!

PS: I hate Japan.

Limericks are fun, too.

There once was a goblin called Song
Who's snatching went horribly wrong
He stared aghast at his sack
As an imp sprang out to attack
So the rest of his life was not long

collide and down we shall go
