Die tree!!!

Wel i am trying this game and im trying to kill a tree by slapping it with my bow but it isent going so well (i fell unconsiousfrom neing tired).
Is there a tutorial for  this game?

The most entertaining method, if I recall correctly, is overpowered magic, since it makes what is best described as a mushroom cloud followed by a rain of tree sap, bark, and maybe other debris, plus the tree ceases to exist.

I think the spell in question required placing the two endpoints of a line, but doubtlessly others would also succeed.
