You guys and your bad puns seem like a bunch of hayseeds who can't even see the forest from the trees.  A topic like this really separates the wheat from the chaff.

[Oh god why am I wasting my first post on this]
I would say to branch out from the tree puns, but then I realized that I was contradicting myself. I really should stop being such a sap.
Also, I'm under the impression that palm trees aren't real trees, per say.

Every grain of this thread is being used up. There ought to be a few saplings left of puns. Get off the grass of yesterday and think up some more. This can't be the cap of the tower, there should still be some left to spawn. Let's keep our helmets plump, all the ideas aren't pruned yet. There are still some kernels left to be assaulted. So stop wasting your time shaking the berries off your branch.

Centration. Similar to Spacestation 13, but in 3D and first-person. Sounds damn awesome.

I dunno, I would assume that bad tree puns are even more painful to a creature that both constantly obsesses over trees, and has excellent hearing. Which is why building a maze out of wood around a trade depot, with a couple dwarfs inside constantly yelling out bad plant puns is a great idea (if not exactly possible in Dwarf Fortress currently. [Our maize is very poplar this thyme of the ear.])

talking about friendly fire accident my dwarf adventurer had the best idea of dodge a arrow in a volcano down the opening 147 level below to the magma sea and survive a couple of turn before the adamantine armor melt whit him inside

Ah yes. This thread might have reached the top of the tower (i.e. cap.) for tree puns. Furthermore we should probably stop barking out these tree puns, for they are a pine in the aspen, and make me so glumprong.
