Ah yes. This thread might have reached the top of the tower (i.e. cap.) for tree puns. Furthermore we should probably stop barking out these tree puns, for they are a pine in the aspen, and make me so glumprong.

I firvently hope that this is not the case. If we were to run out of tree puns, I don't know how I could copse.

Nay, the woods of punmenship are evergreen.

Ok, ok, where do blood-sucking elves come from?

Got it?

And with that, insomnia ends and I would sleep with a smile. If it weren't for the headcold.
You know, it's the fact that I will sit here and make 40+ posts when I am sick and/or can't sleep that drives the post counter so high.  Anyone else have this problem?

Well, anyway, maybe the cheery tunes of Woody Allen can put me to sleep. What do you do when your dreams varnish? I could get a paper-view movie, perhaps. I'd love to harp on the subject of wooden crafts for a while, but a treetise on that would be for the Elves. Oh my oaking head! My sinuses are all gummed up. Oh, and now my movie is coming through all grainy! I'm so glad not to be a fruit, or I couldn't enjoy this actress' performance properly. I'd love to share some seed with her, if you know what I mean. But my confidence would just splinter in person.

Thread's not at the end of its rope yet. We can still weave a little more before the vines of time take over. The peanut gallery isn't boiled yet.

Let us hope the puns sprout anew from the fertile soil of our imaginations.

Maybe I'm just easily annoyed but you people disgust me with your unbeleafable puns. After all, aren't we above such sappy humor?
Perhaps you're just trying to spruce up your conversations with them. Long ago I may have tried something similar, but I was just making an ash of myself. Everyone goes through a stage like this, its just important not to let it grow on you

Try instead to branch out into your own methods of comedy. Really, is rooting about through corny joke books how you want to improve yourself? Even if it seems impossible its best not to just vegetate and give up. Every person has the capacity to bloom into a funny person if they just stop using tired old conventions.

This thread has grown well beyond what anyone expected. By this point we're just feeding on the comedic detritus of past posts. Oh well, soak it up! With text and a photo, synthesize a new type of comedy!
