I know a gay pastor.

He's a nice guy.
What denomination is he part of?

The United Church of Canada.

Protestant.

Hey, here's a question for you. I was baptized a Protestant but went through all the doohicky to become a Catholic. What am I?

I like to say 'Christian' and be done with it, but I'm interested to know how you'd see it.

Ummm... What he said?
Although it really isn't important, seeing that I had no clue over whether I was a sunnie or a shi'ite.

I was baptized Catholic and use the LeVeyan viewpoint of 'Do whatever you want to make yourself happy, so long as it doesn't negatively affect others or prevent them from doing what they want to become happy'

It doesn't make me a Satanist...
(Actually, LeVeyan satanism is very morally and ethically correct, people simply refuse it because it uses the word satan. More of a way of living than a religion though) I'll get into that more if you want me to

Ok guys, this one is incredible.

From an article on the top "rational proofs of the truth of christianity".

5) UFO abductions have been stopped in the name of Jesus.

UFOs are not metal spaceships from other star systems. Many of even the secular researchers are beginning to see that UFOs come not from another physical location but from another dimension. Christian UFO researchers believe UFOs come from the realm of spirit and are demonic.

There are many testimonies of attempted UFO abductions that have been stopped by the person calling out the name of Jesus. (See Charisma magazine April 2001 page 46.) There are many recent books that explain UFOs from a Christian perspective.

Catholic, because you chose be one.

Fair point. I mean, as a truly hilarious man once said, Catholicism is probably the most adhesive religion in the world anyway.

I'd be a Catholic even if I was something else.

The word 'Jesus' is acidic to the aliens.

This is now a fact.

I read the original quote. He thinks that science didn't start in China or the Middle East, but in Medieval Europe.

You could call yourself a LeVeyanist, I suppose. They do get a bad rap, they're portrayed as hedonists. Or sometimes people think they worship Satan.
