An illustrated dwarf fortress battle report
« on: April 20, 2010, 12:13:22 am »

Hi ho,

I'm rather new to dwarf fortress (only been playing a few weeks, now completely addicted) but I experienced my first bout of Fun not long ago and felt compelled to record the epic saga.

Enjoy it! My dwarves sure didn't.

Thanks!

And it would teach children the importance of having multiple contingency plans for any defense. Never rely exclusively on Plan A. And never give up. And pump stacks are worth the trouble.

Tarran has the "Tarran Bug", a bug which causes the affected character to repeatedly hit teammates while dual-wielding instead of whatever the hell he is shooting at.

It's a genuine work of art; sublime without being dry, detailed without being impenetrable.  I can only it ricochets across the internet as a layman's primer to Dwarf Fortress.

Dear Sir,

We must inform you, that by submitting this amazing illustrated story you have signed an agreement with the party known as "The Bay12 community", and thus are committed to submit more epic masterpieces in the future. If you fail to comply with the terms set upon you by this contract legal action will be taken against you. And by "legal action taken" we are saying "tears will be shed", crocodile tears in fact.

With best wishes,

PPS:I bow down, raise my hat and whatnot in salutation for you, dear sir.
