What's worse are the living hoary marmots.

hehehe.

Why is there a demon diplomat here? What's more, it's working for the humans?!
Spoiler: Sog, the Law-Giver (click to show/hide)

Wall it into a tile. Drop a ceiling on it. Remove and rebuild all traps. Survive human siege.

The following is an excerpt from Ziril Kuletatol's life, 15th of Limestone, 1503.
Bomrek Mistematol was killed today. Another wood-cutting casualty.

We traded with the humans for animals, weapons, and some bags. I sent them away with an offering, hoping to get better stuff next year and to free up space for all the crafts Fita makes.

The balcony is almost complete!

The following is an excerpt from Ziril Kuletatol's life, 9th of Sandstone, 1503.
Not much has happened, recently.

We caught some wolves, which is nice.

Work on the balcony is almost complete.

The baroness is demanding a rose gold coffin in her tomb (She's not getting it), and I've forbidden the export of green glass goods, on the off chance that we have any.
They could have been smuggled in, I don't know.

Also, this diplomat isn't so bad. Even though he's, y'know, a demon. Really!

If he hasn't been smashing our stuff, we're cool. If he has, kill him.

He's been well behaved. It's kinda weird.

The following is an excerpt from Ziril Kuletatol's life, 17th of Sandstone, 1503.
Id, the captain of the guard, got in a fight today. As far as I can tell, it was over who would drink the last bit of sunshine.

I would have had her thrown in jail, but we don't have any metal chains. Oh well.

The following is an excerpt from Ziril Kuletatol's life, 23rd of Sandstone, 1503.
BEHOLD!

The only thing that's not gold on the balcony is the statue. Once we have access to magma, I expect that to change.
