More specifically, about building things out of ice. Are we going to be able to build stuff like a castle out of ice blocks? Also, the reason I am asking this is because I actually wanted to build a fortress out of blocks of blood. Would that even be possible, or am I just crazy to want to do so? Thoughts/flames welcomed, lol.

Out of ice: I'm pretty sure yes.Out of blood: I don't know. It would probably be impractical to find out normally, so it sounds like a job for a hacker  :p

You would need to find enough blood to fill a tile 7 deep, then enough cold to freeze it. Per block.

I remember asking Toady if blood could accumulate in a nearby gutter. I think he said no, blood isn't a proper liquid yet like water and magma. Making it and other 'liquids' into proper liquids was still on the to-do list (like alcohol and vomit). Maybe that's changed since.
