So it's the old Garfield Randomizer, but with Garfield Minus Garfield supplying the panels? I don't know if that's better or worse.

There was a long time ago, before Garfield Minus Garfield existed. It just made a Garfield strip out of random panels, sort of like this does, except with the original strips. The copyright holders weren't amused, and got made, and it was taken down.

Ah, interesting. I took G-G existence (with blessing from Garfield creator) sign of them being fairly relaxed about derivative works and copyright.

Guess it is time to write few emails.
