I'd accept being a brain in a jar as long as I still had hands and fingers. Like, outside the jar, so I could use them to manipulate objects around me. Some other method of object manipulation would also be acceptable, but I think hands are among the easiest to implement. Some way of getting information from the objects I am manipulating would also be a requirement. So, eyes and hands, or equivalents.

Actually you could probably get an accurate measure as to the sex of the brains by looking at the estrogen and testosterone levels in them. There's probably also some physical differences (as a result of the aforementioned hormones) if you know where to look.
