The Prison of Angels
« on: May 10, 2010, 06:20:46 pm »

Well since the last fort lasted roughly 10 days dwarf time I had doubts about whether it was worth it.  But it seems those involved wanted a Redo so here we go.

I've learned from the mistakes I made the last time through and hopefully they will not happen again.
I want as much input as possible, I'll try to keep everything up to date with screenshots and frequent posts of details.

Summary:  We've settled in a flat sinister forest.  I've dug into the ground next to an S shaped pond,  dug out some farms and am starting on the food storage/General storage facilities.  Also I've started using some of the microline to build a defensive wall around our entrance,  I dont want another werewolf slaughter.

And here we go again.

Dante` is a friend, I was using his account (didnt realize it was still logged in,) Saw my mistake before I restarted and Made my own account.  Now if we can continue...

The black bear has guzzled five of our drinks,  I'm debating drafting a military just to slaughter the fool but I shall let it go for now.  Food is getting dragged inside quickly, I just must remember not to plan anything until level 15~ to avoid the cave systems.

I hope you forgive my use of the microline.  It had to be done.

It seems our miner has worked to dehydration,  Also is sleeping outside.  What to do what to do.  Didnt even flood the farms yet.

Let him get his booze on when he wakes up, then flood the farm.

Yea,  I've set up some basic workshops down a far tunnel on the 2nd level down,  And now towercaps are starting to grow over the path to them.  >_> <_<  I've breached the caverns again but not in a place that gives access to the walking creatures to the fortress.  I'm building bedrooms within the walls of the caverns now.

Who volunteers to be our craftsdwarf so maybe we have something to trade in autumn?

b-C-f.

And start churning out mechanisms. They're heavy, but valuable. Only sell the superior or better ones.

EDIT: "Duperior?" What the fuck?

I changed a soap maker to a butcher/tanner,  Another soap maker to a farmer,  And the third soap maker to a craftdwarf,  Else everyones open for you to choose what you want them to be, (I dont really care what you turn them into when you claim them.)... But yea, Kinda irks me that the game decided we really need soap.

Anyway you can choose what skills you want your dwarf to have.
