Burrows actually work the way they are supposed to?
Now I have reason to learn how to use them.

Are you prepared for the Kobold thieves?
I recommend you chain up one cat at the entrance to act as a radar.
But, of course, do as you wish ;)

I say we breach the first cavern layer, then wall off the entire initial visible area and build/mine our fort in there.

Hmm...
As long as you capture the creatures down there and throw them into the prison mentioned in the title, I'm all for it.

Actually, there is a lake in layer 1...  I was thinking of moving down there,  If anyone wants to take up the save i'm almost done with year one,  We've had several kobold thievs but in order to get to the goods they have to go through the food stockpile, and guess who's waiting there? >_> Lazy fortress.

OH bandit ^_^ Your still alive.  Save : http://www.mediafire.com/?diwnd0lvtmm

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Note to urist:  Good luck,  The fortress right now was designed to be temporary so everything seems kind of off,  Remember when you want to move out to increase the size of the burrow, right now they're pretty restricted to pre-existing areas.  The lever controlls the flooding, the animals are in the cage.

Downloading now.

EDIT: I see precious gems in the drink. Rubies, sapphires, and a star sapphire.

Also, who's our woodcutter? Because I'd like to have a word with him about these glumprongs...

What do you mean by "in the drink"?

I will assume that it is very good for us, so, sweet!

They're embedded in the walls of the underground lake.
