I think all you've done so far is smooth rock.

I have to stop playing for a while, I'll update tomorrow.

Downloading now.

EDIT: I see precious gems in the drink. Rubies, sapphires, and a star sapphire.

Also, who's our woodcutter? Because I'd like to have a word with him about these glumprongs...

I think my Dwarf ( Leesin ) is the woodcutter  ;)

the woodcutter was horribly mangled, I was going to get a new one as soon as we broke into the cavern at a controllable position so we could farm the trees down there.   I HATE the werewolves.

and yes theres gems everywhere, And yes you've only been smoothing stone.

I dont know, I dont think i've seen many dwarfs recover from red'd bodyparts.  AT least not in the few forts I've played where I've had wounded.

Try this "Toady has stated that beds which are not in any defined room are considered hospital beds, and dwarves will recover faster when sleeping on them", from the magmawiki.

Can you show his/her wound screen ? :D

Sooo... I'm a part of the dalmati (Latin for 'restless dead') right? Does that mean I can be re-dwarfed?

Do you want a
carpenter,
masonfurnace operator,
trapperbutcher/tanner/animal trainer,
jeweler/siege engineer,
stonecrafter/bone carver,
fish dissectorthresher,
dyer/grower, or
soapmakernew recruit?

Check their skills, I re-skilled alot of them but they still have their old names.  Note: Now we have hospital "zones" defined from the (i) menu...  So the wounded get healed in the hospital/dormitory. (Did I mention the sponge baths?)

Wait, I missed something.

How'd Leesin go from mangled to perfectly health?
Sponge baths? :o

Oh, and, I want to put forth a plan.
The plan:

Actually, undergrotto inspired me.
So, credit deserved there ^_^

A cage in a room with fortifications for walls. Open the cage releasing goblin, elf, whatever. Let dwarves practice their marksdwarfship.

SPECIAL BONUS: Make each individual cell collapsible (as in, attach it to the rest of the world only with a support that is connected to a lever).

Shouldn't be too hard. I won't link up the supports, though. Somebody Else's Problem.

Also, I reconfig'd the stone stockpiles to only accept chalk.

...It's not letting me tame the animals.
