What? Killing her is boring. Why simply remove her from the story when we don't have to?

The beauty of absorbing her is that she stays in the story.

And, we don't risk getting completely destroyed.

Then again if we absorb her we'll get a trembling/paranoid crazy girl talking to us every moment in our mind.
If we just regularly absorb her she's gone forever.
If Dr. Alto Clef exists and he really is satan, that might help, but I have no idea how.

That is like saying if a nuclear bomb exists and is about to hit us, that might help, but I have no idea how. ???

Be if we do not absorb her and she attacks one of us is gone forever anyway. Do you guys really think after such a big plot twist we can ever go back to the way it was?

Not really, think about Uriel, he didn't talk to us at all after we absorbed him.

Maybe we can fix her if we get her into our mind.

You stare down at Alice's pitch-black body. She helped you escape the USPDA, she was the first person who's ever liked you unconditionally and she has done everything you've ever asked of her.

Kill her, now. Uriel's monotone voice says in your head.

"Shut up!" You snarl. "I... need to think about this..."

Alice coughs in her sleep, and groans a bit before falling back into the same pattern of sleep. You shut your eyes tightly and extend your mental tendrils towards her. As soon as your mind touches hers, you are met with a force pushing back hard enough that you know if you allow any part of your mind inside her right now, it would be torn from you. (As an aside, the act of pulling a target's mind into yours and severing its connection with its host body is how sovereign demons and the like kill their prey! -Bandages)

"There has to be some way!" You shout, angrily.

Emmett. As someone who relies on your life to remain sentient, I will tell you right now that any course of action that is not killing this creature will most certainly lead to your total and utter annihilation.

"...Fuck," you say. "I can't kill her. I can't."

That is unwi-

"Shut the fuck up, angel! I am sick of your monotone always calm lobotomized bullshit! I am not killing Alice!" You grab hold of Alice's shoulders and shake her. "Wake up! Come back, you idiot!" Her body doesn't respond. "Fuck. Fuck. Fuck!" you curse in frusteration. You can feel your time running out.

Kill. Her.

You clutch your head. You've never had to kill someone close to you before. Even in hell, murder of a companion outside of a duel is considered an atrocity. I've killed all these worthless humans... Why is she special? You hold your trembling hand out in front of you, and focus the bone to stick out of it into a razor-sharp spike.

"Sorry... Alice." You say through grit teeth. You pull your hand up into the air and hold it there for a moment, hesitating. You feel something warm inside your left eye. With your free hand, you reach up and touch your face. With total amazement, you look at the newly formed wet spot on your fingers. You just shed a tear. What's wrong with me? you think. Demons never cry. You shake it off and with one great thrust, slam your hand into Alice's chest. The bone spike pierces through her skin with little resistance and enters her right where her heart should be.

You pull your hand back and slump down against the main trunk of the tree. Black blood drips from the end of the bone spike. You look at Alice, who is still shallowly breathing on the branch. Black blood streams out of the hole in her chest. It gathers below her and runs down the tree, forming into drops that fall to the ground below.

You can feel Alice's life force slipping away. Her breathing slows down as her open wound slowly leaks blood. You walk over to her, and stare into her face, almost unrecognizable because of the shade of her skin. Another tear drop streams down your face and drips off your nose, landing on her forehead. After a moment, you see Alice exhale one last time. Out of her mouth comes a wispy blue orb. Her soul. Without a second thought, you grab ahold of it and hold it close to you. You watch her souless body start to return to normal. Her skin slowly return to the pale color it was before, and her bleeding stops.

Destroy that soul. I don't care how, but you must destroy it before it has the chance to return to her body.

"What... What do you mean...?" You say, weakly and depressed.

Did you learn nothing from your training in hell? A soul of power left to roam on its own can return to its body and live again. Only if the body is capable of sustaining life, though. As you can see, hers is no longer capable, so the soul fled. Without a body, the soul with die over the course of three hours, but you should kill it now. If her body heals and the soul is returned to her, who knows what will happen.

You stare down at the faintly glowing blue orb in your hand. Its gasseous tendrils weave around your fingers and soothe your skin. This is Alice. This is her purest form. Could you really bring yourself to send her to hell, or eternally thrall her within the prison of your soul?

We're certainly not sending her to hell, but if we could temporarily absorb the soul before putting it back into a new body...

Souls can only return to their original body.

Oh. Hm. Ask Uriel what the conditions were when absorbed but not integrated, and what they are now that he's integrated. We don't yet know what absorbing and/or integrating her would feel like for her.

To go with the FORMER general public and the jackass angel...
And maybe be like the jackass angel.
Go hunt down and murder that soul as brutally as possible.
Murder it.
To explain it more.
The soul shall and must be eliminated, or the body must be annihilated, although that may or may not provide a painful existence to the still living soul.

Because I don't want another debate like the one we just had about if we should kill Alice or not, I say we charge blindly and eat Alice's soul. CRIPPLING SIDE-EFFECTS HO!
