> look for a wounded or dead animal.

You decide to head down the mountain, in the direction of the pass. As you descend, you look, listen and smell for any signs of dead animal. Within an hour, the sun begins to go down, and the evening cold rushes in. As you approach the base of the mountain, your nose picks up the delightfully sweet scent of rotting flesh. Excited, you rush towards the source. You find the better half of a squirrel, swarming with flies.

Uh, smjjames that's your problem.

Part 3 of Phantoms insane/obsucre schemes!

Capture wolf pup/kidnap human baby/carnivorous animal...
Stockholm syndrome for the child and raise for several years (Can we survive for several more years?), twisting any of those towards our will.

Which better half? It could mean something different to a demon.

Anyways, pick it up with a face of disgust over finding something basically useless, and eat it. I know we don't need sustenance, but it should be a way to absorb any tiny bit of power, which we really need right now.

Uh, smjjames that's your problem.

huh?

What the hell can we do with half a squirrel corpse anyway? Making a zombie out of that isn't going to get us anywhere and I don't know what we.....

Actually wait, I have an idea!

Set up the squirrel corpse as a piece of bait somehow, a hungry scavenger or other carnivore will eventually come calling.... maybe......

Yes, but other players might not like the idea of waiting that long :p

>Anyways, pick it up with a face of disgust over finding something basically useless, and eat it. I know we don't need sustenance, but it should be a way to absorb any tiny bit of power, which we really need right now.

You contort your face into a human frown and pick up the squirrel by the tail. You open your mouth wide and drop it down your throat. The acids in your stomach are about three times as concentrated as those of a human’s. The squirrel and all the maggots freshly laid in it are dissolved nearly instantly. Luckily for you, the rot of decay has the faintest hint of miasma in it. Not enough to bolster your powers any, but enough to make you feel a little giddy, like drinking a cup of coffee.

>Kidnap animal baby

With newfound energy, you wander further down the mountain looking for a kidnappable infant. You don't find any babies lying about. What you do find is a cougar. Staring at you. It appears to be in the middle of stalking another prey when you startled it.

WHAT YOU GONNA DO, EMETT?!?

What does her face look like when its not contorted into human form? You already said she looks human.

Stare at the cougar and use your demonic aura to break its will. Breaking an animal mind should be easier than a humans.

Failing that, throw up your stomach acids onto the cougar. Given the strength of the acids, you should be able to  melt the cougars face pretty much instantly.

Edit: I like the stomach acid option better than just beating the cougar to death.

>What does her face look like
Sorry, I typod the word "frown" it has been fixed. Although, she looks like the hottest woman ever, just sayin'.

>Demonic Strength
You are essentially human for now. You couldn't even punch through a rock, man.

>Stare at cougar and break it's mind.

You lock eyes with the large cat. It lowers its head in a threatening "I'm going to pounce and eat your face now" way. You focus all your effort into radiating your demonic auras outward towards the cougar. Your brow sweats with strain and pressure. Your teeth grit and your fists clench, which kinda hurts because one is still broken. The cat is moments away from jumping when your energies finally penetrate its mind. When your twisted and demonic thoughts enter its head, it becomes too much for the cat to handle. The terror it feels resonates through your entire body causing you to smile in ecstasy. The cougar runs away, broken and terrified. "Today is a good day." you think.

Run after it and spew acid at it. Give up if it's too fast.

Aww, I wanted to make the cougars head melt.

Follow the cougar, since its will is broken, perhaps it will be easier to corrupt and twist it to our desires.

>follow the cougar/run after it and spew acid

You start after the cougar in a full-on sprint. It's charging as fast as it can through the woods around the base of the mountain, but it's not an animal built for sprinting and fast maneuvering, and continuously slows down. You, however, think back fondly to the rigorous training you did in hell, where you and six other demons were chased by shrieking ghasts through an endless maze of hellfire and serrated blade traps, where only the last one alive would be allowed into the military. Dodging trees is easy as pie. You eventually catch up to the cougar and jump on it, dragging it down. You immediately focus your demonic energies on it to freeze it in terror. It lies on its back, trembling. You walk up to it, and jam your finger down your throat to induce vommiting. You puke on the cougar's head, which steams a little as the hair burns, but nothing else happens. And now your stomach is empty. :(

Drat.
Focus mental energies to try and bend the cougar to your will or kill it while pummeling it in the nose/face and poking its eyes

Its already dead, its head is melted.....

Make your jaw like a snakes and eat the whole damn cougar.

Then go somewhere while your meal digests.

OR

Use your claws, or if lacking claws, use the cougars own claws to cut up the corpse, eat any meat free of the bones, maybe preserve its blood somehow.

It's not dead, just frozen. The acid, it did nothing.

I think that our best course of action would be finding a city and corrupting people the old fashioned way (hint hint nudge nudge).
