Let's meditate until we are strong enough to get out of here.

Agreed, i don't know how long we'd have before dispatch sends backup, but yea, we should meditate long enough until we are strong enough to smash open the door.

As for escaping the cuffs, we could use our bone changing ability to make our hands slip through the cuffs.

You have no choice but to try to meditate. You close your eyes and turn off your thoughts. You suddenly feel as though you are back home in Hell. You can see the eternal planes of torment as though you were there yourself. The burning air feels good against your skin, and the constant and distant shrieks of tortured souls bring back fond memories of your time as a new recruit in the hell military, having to fight thousands upon thousands of undead manifestations of sinful humans. If only I had my strength back, you think. You don't know how long you spent floating about your dreamscape of hell, but suddenly you open your eyes to find yourself sitting in the back of the cop car once more. You don't feel tired or nauseated anymore, and the sun is still in the sky. You figure it has been a few hours, and you thank your luck that the farm was far enough out of the way for no one to come check out the noise.

Emett is in the back of a police car. The only place Emett could go without using any energy would be the seat next to her.

Break the windows and crawl outside, then break the windows to the front seat and find keys, at least we don't waste as much energy as breaking the cuffs with our hands.

Is your captor in the immediate area?  Can you smell him?  What's your field of vision?

This is as good a place to rest as any, we can always bolt if too many reinforcements come, and we can have our way with the guy if he's still alone.  Of course, if he's still in the area, I won't turn down breaking the cuffs and killing him.

We just rested and the captor is already dead.

Can't we contort ourselves so that we can bring our arms forward?

but imagine how horrifying we would be with iron manacles on our wrists!

Ooh, what if they were made of human bone?

I read almost all of the last page, and all of the current one.  I just missed the important post thinking all the new substance would be on the new page instead of the almost-finished one... :-[

Strengthen the bones in your wrists and snap the cuffs. Then we need to find a quiet hole to regain our full power.

Good idea. Do it!

I suggest that after we escape, we run far, far away, meditate for a few hours, and then strengthen our hand bones to make giant spades. Dig a large hole, crawl inside, put the dirt back, and regain full strength.
